About the Role
This role involves coordinating sprints as a developer within the Consumer Intelligence Scrum Team, building and maintaining data products, analyzing diverse consumer data sources, and creating impactful Tableau dashboards to translate data into actionable insights. You will collaborate across the FCA to understand stakeholder needs and promote data-driven thinking.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sprints as a developer within the Consumer Intelligence Scrum Team.
- Build and maintain data products using Python, Tableau, and SQL.
- Analyze diverse consumer data sources to identify key themes, emerging risks, and early warning signals.
- Create impactful Tableau dashboards that translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate across the FCA to understand stakeholder needs and deliver relevant, high-value consumer intelligence.
- Promote data-driven thinking by sharing insights and continuously improving how the team uses data and tools.
Requirements
- Established experience using Python for data engineering (automation) and analysis.
- Prior experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Prior experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and presenting clear, engaging insights in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience using social listening tools to uncover consumer sentiment and emerging trends.
- Demonstrated skills in engaging stakeholders to understand needs, ideate solutions, and support decision-making.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and support practical, sustainable solutions.
- Well organized and consistent, with experience meeting commitments and using tools such as JIRA.
- Curiosity about consumer behaviour, with attention to patterns, risks, and opportunities in data.
- SC Clearance is required for this role (SC Guidance) - you will hold or will be required to obtain Security Check (SC) level vetting.

Salary/Compensations
- National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £53,800 to £62,700 per annum
- London from £59,200 to £69,000 per annum
