About the Role
The Regulatory Readiness Integrity Obligation Management team partners with Legal, Policy, Operations, and Product to respond to external pressures impacting Meta's businesses. This role supports Meta's APAC regulatory portfolio within the Integrity domain, focusing on how regulatory, competitive, and legal matters relate to Meta's data practices and product offerings. The successful candidate will navigate ambiguity, define structure, clarify priorities, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams to solve complex regulatory and operational challenges, working with company leadership on key priorities.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Regulatory Readiness integrity obligation portfolio across APAC jurisdictions, prioritizing high-risk obligations and coordinating cross-functional responses to enforcement deadlines and regulatory developments.
- Ensure Product is aware of external pressures identified by Legal, Policy, and teams working on forecasting and analysis of the competitive landscape.
- Lead gap analyses to help Product teams identify deltas between new regulations and existing product or strategic positions.
- Identify opportunities for alignment across domains.
- Work with teams across domains to identify conflicting requirements and initiatives and improve collaboration across groups responsible for long-term regulatory strategy.
- Scale the capacity of the Regulatory Readiness team through process optimization, right-sizing, and up-skilling.
- Drive progress on priority work-streams and help build decision-making frameworks and deliverables.
- Prepare communication materials and progress tracking for multiple audiences, including leadership.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business operations, program management, regulatory operations, or other operational discipline.
- 3+ years of experience working within a product environment and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including legal, policy and product functions.
- 2+ years of experience working in a regulatory domain like privacy, integrity, security OR in a role associated with data protection, regulatory response, operational risk management, compliance, audit and implementation of control frameworks, privacy by design, information security, or other highly regulated environment.
- Proven project management, problem solving, time-management and organizational skills, and the experience to set strategic priorities combined with a demonstrated history of delivering operational results.
- Familiarity with content moderation, trust & safety, or integrity operations.
- Knowledge of APAC integrity/content regulation.
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements).
- Project Management / Program Management Certification(s).
- Demonstrated knowledge of a domain's requirements, preferable those applicable to a global tech company, and experience evaluating products or processes to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews).
- Demonstrated experience orienting towards solutions in the context of competing perspectives.
