About the Role

At Cancer Research UK, our marketing, fundraising and engagement activity is most effective when it is rooted in a deep understanding of what matters to our audiences. The Consumer Insight and Experience (CIX) team plays a pivotal role in ensuring decisions across Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement (MFE) are informed by robust consumer insight and a strong understanding of audience needs, motivations and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver a range of qualitative and quantitative research projects, ensuring stakeholders have the insight they need to make informed decisions.
- Manage in-house and commissioned end-to-end quantitative and qualitative insight projects from brief through to delivery and implementation.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, helping them understand their insight requirements and ambitions.
- Translate complex findings into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate across Data, Insight and Performance teams to provide joined up delivery and understanding of insight.
- Manage and optimise package of insight products and tools, including tracking programmes and our Supporter Panel.
- Manage external research agencies, budgets, timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience delivering qualitative and quantitative market research.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Consumer focused, strategic and analytical mindset.
- Collaborative working style.
- Ability to translate data into strategic and actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management experience, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; SPSS advantageous.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
