About the Role
This senior management position leads a team to execute portfolio strategies and ensure seamless client support, driving sales targets in coordination with the Consumer Sales team.
Responsibilities
- Manage Regional Managers overseeing Sales Representatives, including goal development, performance monitoring, and effectiveness assessment.
- Develop product strategies for Partner consumer and commercial products to meet financial plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams and partners to execute portfolio strategies.
- Manage regional and district credit goals, communicating results and best practices.
- Partner with Regional Partner management to develop and execute tactics supporting credit goals, sales, new accounts, associate development, and store coverage strategy.
- Engage in hiring for senior sales roles, making decisions on salary adjustments and promotions.
- Manage field execution of credit initiatives and goal achievement, ensuring Sales Representatives receive proper training, coaching, and career development.
- Collect and present market intelligence, facilitate business development opportunities.
- Develop and manage cost center budgets and expenses.
- Maintain relationships with partner associates and customers.
- Ensure timely resolution of escalated credit issues and concerns.
- Assess risk in business decisions, considering firm reputation, compliance, ethical judgment, and control issue management.
- Supervise others' activities and create accountability for maintaining standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Previous experience managing a Field Sales team or organization required
- Experience within the sales/credit field required
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes
- Demonstrated employee development and mentoring skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to work with various levels of management
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
