About the Role
Summerhill Market is seeking dependable, hardworking, and food-loving individuals to join their Sandwich Crew team at their Commissary Kitchen. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced production kitchen environment and take pride in quality food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, and grab-and-go items according to Summerhill Market standards
- Assist with kitchen prep including slicing, portioning, stocking, and ingredient preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and kitchen areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Support the Prepared Foods team with general kitchen helper duties as needed
- Help ensure products are fresh, properly labeled, and presentation-ready for retail locations
- Work collaboratively with the production kitchen team to meet daily output targets
Requirements
- Previous kitchen, food prep, deli, or sandwich-making experience is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Availability to work Night Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
- Availability to work weekends as needed with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off
