About the Role

Summerhill Market is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Juice Maker to join their Production team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with fresh produce, value consistency, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for daily juice production.
• Wash, peel, trim, and cut produce using safe knife handling techniques.
• Follow standardized recipes to produce consistent, high-quality juices.
• Operate commercial juicing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure ingredients accurately to ensure product consistency.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for distribution to retail stores.
• Monitor product quality and ensure freshness standards are maintained.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance procedures.
• Assist with cleaning equipment and production areas at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food production, commercial kitchens, produce preparation, or manufacturing is an asset.
• Comfortable using knives with safe and efficient cutting techniques.
• Able to accurately follow recipes and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Available to work the afternoon/evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).
