About the Role

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily routine checks on equipment to detect damage or needs for repairs.
• Service machines including conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizes, and labelers.
• Complete production line assignments while maintaining strict safety standards.
• Maintain and repair PLC, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment, machines, and associated hardware with minimal supervision.
• Support operators during equipment malfunctions and collaborate to correct problems.
• Participate in team member development through training and collaboration.
• Comply with the Company's Integrated Management Systems (Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP).
• Comply with all health, safety, environmental, food safety, and legal regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a plant, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with blow molding machines (Blowmax experience is an asset).
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and mechanical tools.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Comfortable using Redzone or similar production tracking systems.
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Electromechanical competency is an asset (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.).
• Trade license is an asset.
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints and find parts.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Fast learner with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and a valid work permit (if applicable).
