About the Role

The Manager, Programme Analytics – SRHR will support CIFF’s SRHR leadership in making evidence-informed decisions across a significant portfolio. This role bridges analytics, modeling, and strategy, transforming complex data into actionable insights for investment, risk management, and delivery decisions. It aims to strengthen data utilization, provide advanced analytical capabilities, and build program teams' capacity in data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop programme analytics and operational insights strategies.
  • Develop clear decision-support products for SRHR leadership, including investment scenarios and risk analysis.
  • Prioritize analytical questions across the SRHR portfolio to improve decisions or outcomes.
  • Build confidence among senior leaders in the interpretation and implications of analytical findings.
  • Prepare summary reports, board reports, and portfolio investment reports.
  • Manage a portfolio of data analysis grants, working with programme teams on design and application of lessons.
  • Oversee the development of epidemiological, econometric, demand forecasting, cost-effectiveness, and predictive models.
  • Collaborate with Programme teams to continuously improve models based on evolving data insights.
  • Provide insights on performance metrics and operational efficiency.
  • Establish quality standards for models, including documentation of assumptions and limitations.
  • Support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SRHR portfolio dashboards.
  • Oversee integration of programme data systems, partner reporting, and external datasets.
  • Define core metrics, data flows, review rhythms, and escalation triggers for managing SRHR portfolio performance.
  • Ensure strong data validation, quality assurance, and governance processes for critical mission metrics.
  • Ensure responsible, ethical, and secure use of SRHR data, including data protection, safeguarding, privacy, bias, and limitations.
  • Act as a resource to programme teams on monitoring frameworks, analytical methods, and data analysis.
  • Support programme teams to apply data and analysis consistently for course correction, learning, and investment decisions.
  • Work closely with the Impact Knowledge Hub and Tech4Impact Hub to ensure SRHR priorities are included in cross-CIFF data system improvements.
  • Stay informed about developments in effective philanthropy, implementation science, and impact measurement.
  • Support engagement with technical partners, governments, and multilaterals on SRHR data.
  • Work with grantees and technical partners to strengthen data quality, reporting systems, and use of evidence.
  • Promote best practices in SRHR data analytics in global convenings.
  • Manage selected relationships with technical partners, governments, and stakeholders critical to SRHR data objectives.
  • Strengthen analytical consistency, quality, and shared ways of working across SRHR programme teams.
  • Mentor colleagues on data interpretation, modelling, and performance management.
  • Model collaborative, inclusive, and evidence-informed ways of working.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Be a role model to less experienced team members, demonstrating CIFF’s leadership behaviours and providing mentorship.
  • Adopt a coaching approach with colleagues which instils a culture of openness and trust.

Requirements

  • Strong quantitative analysis, modelling, and forecasting experience.
  • Experience in epidemiological, econometric, or predictive modelling.
  • Experience in cost modelling or cost-effectiveness analysis.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for non-technical senior audiences.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, or using dashboards, KPIs, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, validation, governance, and limitations.
  • Experience working across technical, programme, and operational teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical judgement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with external partners.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Capacity to work in a range of cultural and socio-economic contexts, adapting style and approach appropriately.
  • A proven self-starter, who works with pace and resilience.
