About the Role
As a Keyholder, you will assist the management team with day-to-day store operations and bring our brand promise to life: to offer a fun, fashion-centered, and affordable shopping experience to our communities. Keyholders help drive Crossroads' values- creating an inclusive environment where all feel welcome to enjoy a second-hand shopping and selling experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the management team with day-to-day store operations.
- Create a welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment to shop and work in.
- Engage with customers by greeting them with a smile and welcoming them to the store.
- Prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities to the team to ensure smooth store operations.
- Educate customers on how the store works and encourage them to sell their clothes.
- Act with integrity in all words and actions.
- Be compassionate and connect with all customers.
- Show up to work on time and ready to go.
- Support the team and customers as needed by being flexible with changing needs.
- Run breaks and manage lines efficiently.
- Embody an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Learn buying, merchandising, and inventory practices.
- Gain and maintain the trust of customers.
Requirements
- Prior supervisory experience in retail (6 months+).
- Have a good eye for fashion and current trends.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
