About the Role
Safely maneuver tractor trailers between LiDestri facilities and/or on LiDestri property.
Responsibilities
- Transport product between facilities utilizing tractor trailers
- Perform yard checks and move empty trailers throughout lot
- Apply security mechanisms and ensure trailers are properly sealed to prevent theft and contamination
- Assist with maneuvering the railcar
- Operate lifts
- Assist with Shipping/Receiving needs or perform other warehouse duties, as time allows
- Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid CDL-A license
- Must possess a current, valid DOT physical
- Previous experience with shipping/receiving paperwork
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning
- Previous experience as a CDL-A driver
