About the Role

You will work in the PMO organization under Hardware Engineering Program Management, leading HW NPI programs through the development cycle from charter to MP. This role is located in New York and will collaborate with teams in Seattle and Asia, requiring frequent travel.
Responsibilities
- Work with leads from Hardware Engineering, Product, Quality, SW, PMO, and Operations to create detailed program plans across a specific platform.
- Plan and lead weekly executive-level updates.
- Establish comprehensive program schedules with identified critical paths and dependencies.
- Maintain, track, and update program-level risks, mitigation plans, upcoming milestones, and team priorities.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment and agreement on program status and priorities.
- Coordinate and facilitate solutions to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
- Build and maintain platform budgets.
- Plan and execute Engineering builds successfully, managing build plans, Build Matrix, and Clear To Build.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience with Hardware Program Management.
- Experience working with international suppliers and ODMs.
- Managed multiple product development cycles for complex hardware systems with cross-functional dependencies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues to a wider audience.
- Ability to foster and build collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Very strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, action-driven, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining detailed program schedules.
- Experience leading engineering builds with international suppliers and ODMs.
