About the Role

The Senior CDM Consultant/Principal Designer will support projects across the UK and Republic of Ireland, ensuring projects are delivered in a safe and compliant manner. This role involves acting as a CDM Advisor and Principal Designer, working closely with clients and internal teams to uphold high standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CDM Principal Designer and Designer roles and responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with CDM 2015 Regulations.
• Support the company in fulfilling the duties of the Principal Designer and CDM-Advisor.
• Support the company in fulfilling the PSDP role on projects in Ireland when required.
• Liaise with stakeholders to share information relevant to the planning, management, monitoring, and coordination of project phases.
• Plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction phase.
• Advise the client on pre-construction information and provide necessary data to designers and contractors.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on CDM/Health and Safety issues.
• Excellent working knowledge of CDM 2015 and safety legislation in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
• Demonstrable experience delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisor roles on large-scale energy or industrial projects.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• Incorporated member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPs).
• Full and clean driver’s license.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks and drug screens.
