About the Role

Co-lead our King's Trust Team Programme, supporting young people aged 16–25 to build confidence, develop new skills and take positive steps into education, employment or training. Through mentoring, engaging group activities and tailored support, you'll help create an inclusive environment where young people can overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the King’s Trust Team Programme, supporting young people aged 16–25 to build confidence, develop new skills and move towards employment, education or training.
  • Deliver engaging personal development, employability and team-building sessions.
  • Provide one-to-one mentoring and tailored support to help young people overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for participants.
  • Support the delivery of key programme elements, including residentials, community projects, fundraising activities and work placements.
  • Build strong relationships with employers, community partners and colleagues to create opportunities for young people.

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes in education, employment or training.
  • Experienced in delivering youth work, training or group-based programmes for young people aged 16–25.
  • Skilled in providing one-to-one mentoring, coaching or tailored support.
  • Confident building positive relationships and managing group dynamics.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and residentials.
  • Commitment to ensuring the welfare and protection of all children, young people and adults.
  • Willingness to undergo safer recruitment checks, including a criminal records check.

Salary/Compensations

  • £28,860 - £31,000 per year
