About the Role

Perform technical investigations and administrative tasks related to power plant operation and maintenance. Analyze, identify, and take appropriate actions to correct unsatisfactory system and plant conditions and to improve plant performance.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate system performance problems and develop system modifications as needed.
  • Interface with other company departments, external contractors, and vendors.
  • Conduct equipment tests, analyze results, and prepare recommendations.
  • Oversee company or contractor workforce for plant modifications, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Monitor plant operating and environmental conditions through inspections and log reviews.
  • Be on call for plant contingencies during scheduled weekends and off-hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science.
  • Minimum of 5+ years related experience, with power plant systems and maintenance experience preferred.
  • Responsible for Capital Project implementation ($1M+).
  • Responsible for overseeing contractor personnel.
  • Responsible for Equipment repair and replacement.
  • Assumes responsibility for Section personnel (10-45) in Manager’s absence.
  • Must have the ability to work without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
