About the Role
Professionally manage the daily operations of the 360 Restaurant, VUE Bistro, and Le Café kitchens, including oversight of unionized staff and assistance with base kitchen production. This role focuses on controlling food and labor costs, menu development, staff training, and ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and human resources policies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control daily food and labor usage to maintain acceptable costs.
- Collaborate with the kitchen management team to create and implement new menus.
- Ensure consistent administration of performance, development, recruitment, and training programs.
- Enforce health and safety programs, including HACCP standards.
- Maintain company standards for food preparation and presentation.
- Expedite and monitor food production and plating quality.
- Manage and provide guidance to unionized kitchen employees.
- Coordinate food execution during service.
- Communicate with the Restaurant Services team to ensure service consistency.
- Manage equipment repair and service requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas, refrigerators, and storerooms.
Requirements
- Completion of a secondary school diploma.
- Three to five years of related experience in restaurant management or related operations.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 kilograms.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

- Performance-based incentive up to 8% of eligible earnings
