About the Role

You will lead a team of field sales representatives/managers to ensure the execution of the sales strategy and achievement of annual KPIs and targets. This role is for a Field Sales Manager for the Manitoba, Saskatchewan, North Western Ontario territory, leading a team of 12 Sales Representatives servicing key customers across approximately 250 stores.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and motivate the team, working closely with the sales capability team to ensure training delivery.
  • Create and manage an annual business unit plan to deliver agreed channel revenue KPIs and targets, providing reporting as required.
  • Manage winning customer business relationships that facilitate best-in-industry execution of our categories.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including the account team, category, activation team, sales capability, and customer finance to provide optimum return across your region.
  • Fully understand category and insights knowledge, coaching the team in the use of category tools to engage and influence customers for informed decisions that grow categories and deliver the annual plan.

Requirements

  • Considerable knowledge of market and routes-to-market in which Mondelēz International performs.
  • Experience in sales and managing a team of salespeople.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interacting skills.
  • Solid knowledge of sales and negotiation processes.
  • Perseverance and attention to detail.
  • A desire to accelerate your career.
  • Passion for people management and coaching others.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian Retail Landscape.
  • Track record of success in Account Management.
  • Valid driver’s license for the province is required and includes a favorable driving record.
  • Expected to be in the field approximately 3 days per week.
  • Monthly overnight travel is to be expected.

Salary/Compensations

  • $102,600 to $128,250 CAD
  • Eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 14% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
