About the Role

This role will support the evaluation, development, and execution of race opportunities across Formula 1 within the Race Promotion team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform strategic analysis of potential new markets, including commercial viability and political landscape.
  • Monitor current affairs and relevant news in key markets to guide engagement with local contacts.
  • Draft briefing packs to inform senior leadership ahead of meetings with prospective race hosts.
  • Track the pipeline of prospective race opportunities, ensuring visibility of status and next steps.
  • Develop opportunity assessment processes, including evaluation frameworks and selection criteria.
  • Inform renewal strategy and deal priorities by analyzing commercial metrics and event feedback.
  • Support preparation of materials, including financial modeling, for negotiations with promoters.
  • Develop materials for senior leadership forums focused on long-term strategy and calendar evolution.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-priority projects across the wider Race Promotion team.

Requirements

  • Possess an international outlook, including a strong grasp of geopolitics.
  • Ability to speak languages relevant to key F1 markets is preferred.
  • Demonstrate an appetite to learn and a commitment to personal development.
  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree from a top university.
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in high-performance cross-functional roles (sports, strategy, consulting, etc.).
  • Understanding of the commercial sports landscape (Formula 1 and other major properties) is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of RFP and/or contracting processes is desirable.
  • Ability to deliver clear and succinct written materials with consistent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage relationships with colleagues across F1 in both commercial and operational roles.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively when working simultaneously on multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to optimize processes and commercial outcomes via proactive problem solving.
