The Senior Superintendent coordinates Ryan employees, subcontractors, and project management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves enforcing safety programs, managing and training personnel, and collaborating with trades foremen, owners, and tenants.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate subcontractors and company employees
- Manage select projects based on experience
- Administer project budgets
- Read and administer contracts
- Value engineer projects and details
- Assist project team with material procurement
- Expedite and control material purchases
- Negotiate and purchase limited contracts
- Estimate self-performed work bids
- Oversee project closeout
Requirements
- Post high school education or equivalent in construction
- Management and Sales Training
- Completed all qualifications and responsibilities of Superintendent
- 2-5 years as a foreman in the trade
- 1-2 years of experience in layout
- 2-5 years as an Assistant Superintendent
- 1-3 years as a Superintendent
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of building projects
- Ability to understand shop drawings
- Ability to read and comprehend prints and specifications
- Verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
