About the Role

The Senior Project Manager leads the delivery of complex rural health transformation initiatives and serves as a primary client-facing leader for large-scale healthcare consulting engagements. This role oversees integrated workstreams, ensures alignment across stakeholders, and provides project governance, risk management, and operational leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day leader for complex rural health transformation projects.
  • Establish project management standards, tools, processes, and reporting structures.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, decision logs, risk registers, and dashboards.
  • Monitor project health, milestones, budget performance, and resource utilization.
  • Identify project risks and barriers, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure alignment across project teams and maintain focus on contractual commitments.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client leadership.
  • Lead project governance activities including steering committees and status reporting.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across policy, operations, data analytics, and technology.
  • Synthesize information into executive-level presentations and reports.
  • Interpret federal and state regulations to inform project planning and implementation.
  • Lead issue resolution efforts and facilitate stakeholder consensus.
  • Oversee the quality and timeliness of all client deliverables.
  • Manage project financial performance, including budget development and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of progressively responsible project or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams within complex projects.
  • Experience serving as a primary client-facing project lead and managing executive-level stakeholder relationships.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Salary/Compensations

  • $93,500 - $110,000
