About the Role
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role supporting critical decisions across the IET business and Baker Hughes. You will provide unbiased strategic insight, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to inform leadership priorities and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives across the IET Business Segment.
- Develop and oversee strategies for 5 Individual Business Units (BUs) to support growth objectives.
- Formulate overall IET strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development of operational strategies.
- Synthesize competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, and customer intelligence to develop strategic options and roadmaps.
- Support the strategic planning process (LRP) to ensure it is timely, focused, and value-added.
- Collaborate with Corporate HQ, including Growth & Experience (GX), FP&A, Corporate Development, and Investor Relations.
- Support IET Leadership team presentations, including BoD meetings, IET Leadership Forum, and external presentations.
- Manage analyses for management benchmarking and provide timely insights to various departments.
- Develop and oversee processes for strategic threat identification and evaluation.
- Perform other tasks as identified by the IET Strategy Director.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or Engineering, or related discipline.
- Relevant experience in strategy, consulting or marketing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to structure ambiguity into clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly build a strong understanding of the full IET portfolio and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data/AI tools.
