About the Role
Operates various food and beverage service points including the Burger Bar, Slice N Dice, TDR, and Coffee Shop. Requires cash handling, operation of food service equipment, and potentially serving alcohol. Limited food preparation and strong customer service skills are essential, all performed in accordance with Seneca Gaming Corporation policies.
Responsibilities
- Report to work well-groomed in full uniform and on time with badge on upper left side of uniform.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverage to all guests.
- Be hospitable, friendly, and polite with all guests, co-workers, and management using positive body language.
- Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers, and staff.
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine months of employment.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
- Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations are subject to change.
- Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Limited cash handling experience.
- Limited coffee shop experience.
- Some degree of food production experience.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to write routine correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
- Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
- Must be able to lift at least twenty pounds.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment.
- Effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
