About the Role
As a Rigging Yard Operative, you will support the Rigging Department in a world-class film studio. This role offers specialist training and practical knowledge within the film industry, where creativity meets craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare scaffolding/rigging equipment for delivery to Productions
- Count and log returns
- Maintain the rigging yard to organised standards
- Complete return and delivery notes
- Obtain signatures for deliveries and returns as required
- Help maintain departmental records of rigging equipment
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with the clientele
- Drive where required (if an appropriate license is held)
- Consistently look to improve processes within all operations departments and across the company as a whole
Requirements
- Experience with manual handling of scaffold equipment is desirable
- Previous experience within a scaffold environment is desirable
- Previous experience of working in a yard is desirable
- Full clean driving license is desirable
