About the Role
This role involves utilizing inside sales techniques to engage with healthcare professionals, build relationships, and drive brand objectives in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment. The focus is on creating, nurturing, and expanding relationships to achieve sales and market share goals.
Responsibilities
- Use inside sales techniques to achieve positive results with a targeted list of healthcare professionals.
- Apply account management skills such as call planning, customer education, reporting, and follow-up to maximize territory performance.
- Establish a commanding and engaging phone presence to build rapport and conduct clinical/promotional conversations.
- Manage daily sales call activity to optimize time and achieve sales and market share objectives.
- Profile and manage a targeted list of healthcare professionals to grow product volume.
- Maintain required product expertise, including competitive product knowledge.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of products and communicate information clearly and accurately using proper medical terminology.
- Successfully complete product training and meet expectations.
- Demonstrate effectiveness working independently and in a team environment.
- Introduce, establish, grow, and retain relationships with healthcare professionals at all levels.
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Highly organized.
- Superior communication skills.
- Experience in an environment incentivized by established goals and metrics.
- Experience in the healthcare industry involving interaction with physicians, office staff, etc. is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical device, pharmaceutical, or related field.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred.
