About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Analytics to reimagine and develop the future of the Analytics function at Navan. This role will leverage data to enhance storytelling and decision-making, championing a "test and learn" culture with an emphasis on experimentation and rapid iteration. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic partner adept at problem-solving, curiosity, collaboration, and service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global People Analytics strategy to support employee experience.
- Lead, mentor, and scale the People Analytics function, managing and developing team members.
- Build foundational reporting and Analytics for People & Talent organizations, contributing insights beyond engagement and retention.
- Navigate and enhance existing systems and AI implementations for workflow, automation, and output.
- Partner with senior business and HR leaders to identify key insights, metrics, and trends shaping the people strategy.
- Become a subject matter expert in core business functions and leverage analytical tools for creative problem-solving.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects requiring cross-functional stakeholder input.
- Share data expertise and provide thought leadership, enabling self-service analytics.
- Translate complex people data into actionable stories to influence business decisions and drive change.
- Utilize SQL, Tableau, and Workday to uncover workforce trends.
- Iterate quickly on pilots and prototypes, prioritizing speed-to-insight and agility.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience in a data-focused field.
- 8+ years of experience using data to uncover insights and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, quantitative research, and data interpretation.
- Ability to interpret complex data results and influence business strategies.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across all company levels.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
- High proficiency in SQL, Thoughtspot, Serval, Workday, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
- Growth mindset with a bias for action.
