About the Role
As the Product Marketing Coordinator at Eva NYC, you will help bring new products to life from consumer insights and concept development through launch and optimization. You will partner cross-functionally to shape product strategy, execute innovation initiatives, and ensure successful product launches.
Responsibilities
- Manage product artwork copy creation and routing process, creating SKU copy docs and ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and adherence to Regulatory and Product Development standards.
- Design and execute consumer insights surveys to inform product positioning, messaging, claims, and concept development.
- Support clinical and consumer testing by drafting target claims and consumer perception questionnaires.
- Conduct competitive analyses across haircare categories, evaluating claims, fill sizes, pricing, and positioning.
- Support innovation and reformulation projects by developing cross-functional briefs that document approved strategy and product positioning recommendations.
- Contribute to product concept brainstorming with insights from trends, competitive research, ingredient innovation, and consumer behavior.
- Evaluate benchmark products and formula submissions, providing feedback through the development process.
- Serve as a product knowledge resource for cross-functional teams, providing guidance on claims, ingredients, benefits, usage, and positioning.
- Conduct regular market research and identify emerging trends across ingredients, formats, benefits, and consumer behaviors using databases like Mintel, WGSN, and Spate.
- Pull and interpret sales and consumer data (Nielsen, YipitData) to identify category trends, assortment opportunities, and innovation whitespace.
- Perform ongoing competitive audits, monitoring new product launches, messaging, and retailer assortment trends.
- Manage key product marketing resources, ensuring all details and key messaging remain accurate and up to date.
- Maintain Box product artwork library, uploading final product artwork and organizing multiple versions and sizes.
- Support cross-functional meetings, presentations, and product marketing deliverables to ensure project efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of full-time or relevant internship experience in product marketing, brand marketing, or product development (beauty/CPG experience preferred).
- Passionate about beauty and naturally curious about beauty trends, consumer behavior, and product innovation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally with various teams and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret consumer research and market data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
