About the Role
Provide incoming and outgoing mail services to DARS employees internally and externally, ensuring deadlines are met to maintain the contract.
Responsibilities
- Interact with internal and external customers professionally.
- Meet production standards for stamping mail, including timely and accurate date stamping and document separation.
- Process mail on postage meters and complete all associated paperwork accurately.
- Provide movement of materials throughout the agency, ensuring correct mail distribution.
- Send and receive fax messages relating to medical records.
- Maintain a tracking log for accountable mail, ensuring correct delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous mailroom experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow direction and adhere to deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a telephone and keyboard.
- Ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress.
- Post-offer background check required.
