About the Role

POLYVANTIS is seeking a Product Management professional to drive the profitability and growth of its product portfolio. This role involves P&L responsibility, developing long-term product and asset strategies, and contributing to market positioning through value propositions and cost-out initiatives. The position also requires identifying collaboration opportunities, building customer relationships, understanding the competitive landscape, and managing new product launches and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage regional product portfolio profitability and growth within one or more plants.
Oversee P&L, profitability, and product positioning for a specific POLYVANTIS product portfolio (approximately $70MM in revenue).
Develop long-term product portfolio strategy and collaborate with Manufacturing on asset strategy and investments.
Contribute to product positioning in focus market segments by articulating value propositions and leading cost-out programs.
Identify and track strategic co-producer/collaboration opportunities in the value chain.
Build relationships with key customers in focus segments and define long-term developmental contracts.
Analyze global and regional competitive landscapes to inform product portfolio strategy.
Drive execution of new product programs in cooperation with Technology & Innovation and Marketing Communications.
Maintain current product testing and technical manuals, and proactively address regulatory and compliance trends.
Establish pricing floors with the strategic pricing team.

Requirements

Master's degree in chemical engineering, polymer engineering, or materials science.
Minimum of 3 years of Product Management experience in the chemical or plastics markets.
Working experience in an intercultural environment is required.
User knowledge of common MS Office and CRM products (SAP preferred).
High level of motivation, enjoyment of work, and a conscientious way of working.
