About the Role
This fixed-term role leads two flagship priorities: refreshing internal comms channels and discovering/launching a new company intranet. The position involves hands-on support for business-as-usual comms, collaboration with the Employee Experience team, and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the refresh of internal comms channel structure, improving clarity, reducing noise, and embedding consistent governance.
- Own the delivery of a new intranet, building an MVP with current tools and developing a business case for future platform investment.
- Establish content architecture, governance, and ownership for the intranet.
- Evaluate external intranet platforms and build a case for future investment based on MVP learnings.
- Identify opportunities to embed AI across comms and the intranet.
- Contribute to companywide internal comms, including inclusion and impact communications.
- Support comms plans for key business priorities and change initiatives.
- Act as a trusted comms advisor to stakeholders delivering change or business-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Significant experience in internal communications within a fast-moving, international business, ideally within tech.
- Practical experience designing, launching, or significantly refreshing an intranet, with a solid understanding of information architecture, governance, content ownership, and adoption.
- Experience evaluating intranet or digital employee experience platforms and making confident recommendations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- A practical, delivery-focused approach, comfortable moving quickly from strategy to execution in a lean team.
- Experience working closely with senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, with a track record of spotting ways to use it to improve comms processes and content.
- Experience using Slack as part of an internal comms mix is helpful.
- Experience refreshing major employee events such as All Hands is helpful.
