About the Role

Aramark is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain the cleanliness of operations and kitchens, ensuring guest satisfaction and contributing to a safe and positive work environment. This role is an entry point for career development within the company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain a clean dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition, reporting any issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks throughout production kitchens.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Assist the team by receiving and organizing incoming shipments and stock.
• Regularly empty and transport garbage, recycling, and compost to appropriate outdoor receptacles.
• Ensure security of company assets.

Requirements

• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Candidate must be able to successfully clear a Vulnerable Sector Check through Toronto Police Services.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift/move items associated with kitchen operations.
• Flexibility to work weekends, including evening shifts during peak business and catering seasons.
