About the Role

The Front Office IT Delivery team provides a wide range of solutions for commercial decision support and traditional IT activities, generally built on a Microsoft stack. This role focuses on providing a testing service to support projects within the Front Office Analytics & Decision Support area, with an emphasis on increasing test automation.

Responsibilities

• Use, run, edit, and create automated scripts using appropriate technology (e.g. Playwright).
• Produce test plans covering functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing scenarios.
• Take ownership of testing of new systems and enhancements including APIs and .NET Windows Services.
• Validate data using SQL and ClickHouse.
• Support system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Support release cycles and execute smoke testing.
• Be a driver of automation tests within the team.

Requirements

• Prior experience of evaluating automation potential and understanding test automation frameworks.
• Full testing lifecycle experience including system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Familiarity with C#/.NET and scripting.
• Strong SQL and data validation skills.
• Must be a proactive self-starter and able to understand complex systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Able to prioritise effectively.
