About the Role

Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of technical specialists dedicated to our AI security go-to-market (GTM) strategy. Bridge strategic vision and hands-on execution, guiding your team in accelerating customer adoption, solving complex AI security challenges, and driving market leadership for securing homegrown and generative AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of specialized AIRS Solutions Specialists to achieve high performance, technical excellence, and pipeline milestones.
  • Drive the operational execution of our AI security GTM strategy, ensuring team alignment on customer adoption targets for generative and custom AI security solutions.
  • Partner with sales and cross-functional leadership to oversee pipeline generation, qualify strategic opportunities, and remove blockers during complex deal cycles.
  • Support your team in high-stakes customer engagements, guiding discussions on advanced topics like securing RAG models, prompts, vector databases, and enterprise AI architectures.
  • Serve as the bridge between your specialists and cross-functional partners—including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Enterprise Sales—to continuously refine solutions based on field feedback.
  • Drive consistent enablement, best-practice sharing, and market evangelism to position Palo Alto Networks as the premier choice for securing AI initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of direct people management experience (or demonstrated team lead experience) driving high-performing technical sales, solutions architecture, or consulting teams.
  • 7+ years of technical experience, including 3+ years in AI, machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI security contexts.
  • Strong foundation in cybersecurity (e.g., data security, network security, or AI-specific threat landscapes).
  • Broad technical literacy across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and popular generative AI tool integrations.
  • Proven ability to manage resource allocation, track team performance metrics, and pivot strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Outstanding presentation and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-level decision-makers alongside your team.
