About the Role
Manage, strategize, and process the notification, agreement, collection, and settlement of Cyber & PI claims for a global client base. This role involves advocacy, negotiation, data analysis, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure superior client communication and claim resolution.
Responsibilities
- First notification of loss, advocacy, and settlement conclusion for Cyber & PI clients' claims matters.
- Negotiate and liaise with markets, clients, placement teams, specialists, network offices, underwriters, and appointed authorities.
- Conduct data analysis to establish claims history, identify trends, and patterns for clients or business segments.
- Negotiate claim payments and settlements with clients and underwriters.
- Coordinate discussions and meetings to ensure superior communication between clients, underwriters, and their representatives regarding proposed settlements.
- Engage with the Head of Professional Lines Advocacy in the strategy to conclude contentious claims.
- Daily use of ECF with market and client-facing claims advocacy.
- Work as part of a team and autonomously.
- Full cycle client account ownership from FNOL to settlement conclusion.
- Apply product line knowledge to enable exceptional client claims outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Cyber & PI claims.
- Ideally, knowledge of London Market claims processes and procedures.
- Detailed experience in handling claims for national and international clients across various business sectors for Cyber and Professional Indemnity (PI) claims.
- At least 5+ years of London market experience.
- Previous experience interacting with senior client stakeholders and risk managers is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years + London market Cyber experience required.
- Knowledge of Professional Indemnity Claims and confidence to coordinate and initiate discussions with networks, clients, underwriters, and experts.
- Experience of the CLASS and ECF Processing system is a core skill requirement.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Keen to apply product line knowledge to enable exceptional client claims outcomes.
