About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with auto shop management experience to join our busy repair shop. This role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel vehicles, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles.
- Perform routine diesel vehicle maintenance, including tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
- Repair or replace faulty engine components.
- Conduct in-depth inspections of all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
- Create repair estimates and timelines, communicating information clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with diesel engine systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills required.
