About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of the country's most ambitious children's social care reform programmes. Working across six boroughs, you'll help establish a pioneering regional Fostering Hub that will transform how foster carers are recruited, supported and retained across North London.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a high-profile transformation programme.
- Coordinate complex projects across six local authorities.
- Work with senior leaders, elected Members and partner organisations to deliver meaningful change.
- Manage programme planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and service design.
- Create a more effective fostering system that supports foster carers and improves outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements
- Experienced programme or project manager.
- Track record of delivering complex change programmes.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships across organisations.
- Organised and strategic thinker.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in complex environments.
- Ability to simplify challenging issues.
- Ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Ability to keep programmes on track.
