About the Role
The Account Supervisor is responsible for project delivery, supervising the team from initiation to completion. This role requires proactive initiative, teamwork, and supporting the account team in meeting client expectations. The position focuses on developing strategic planning skills by assisting in workshop development and strategic/tactical plan writing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee team in managing project progress, content, and client priorities.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality communication products on time and on budget.
- Manage and ensure quality of services to clients, including attention to detail, status and budget reports, organized communication, and responsiveness.
- Support the Account Director in developing brand strategy and ensuring project alignment.
- Review project briefs and develop IMPACT briefs as required.
- Coordinate project efforts between creative, studio, clients, and programmers.
- Manage and adjust priorities in partnership with the Account Director.
- Support the Account Director in managing day-to-day accounts and preparing proposals.
- Ensure financial follow-up and billing requests, including budget recaps and flagging overages.
- Assist Account Directors in workshop planning, brand planning, and strategic consulting.
- Guide and oversee the growth and development of Account Managers and Senior Account Managers.
- Apply company ideals to all decision-making and business approaches.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related pharmaceutical/healthcare experience from agency, marketing, and/or medical education account management.
- Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic potential and interest.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
- Proactive, can-do attitude to finding solutions.
- Self-motivation, willingness to stay up-to-date in a fast-paced environment, engagement, and persistence.
- Ability to listen, learn, and add value.
- PAAB and ASC experience and negotiation skills (for Canadian Accounts).
- Experience in building estimates and managing project profitability.
- Financial management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership while being a team player.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a service attitude.
