About the Role

The post holder will play a significant role in delivering the management of streetworks on the London Borough of Croydon roads network. This is a demanding and rewarding role which will bring benefits to people who live and work in Croydon.

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting live streetworks and reinstatement to protect the integrity of the public highway.
  • Perform NRSWA duties.
  • Assessing permits.
  • Represent the Council at senior level meetings.
  • Work closely with other members of the Highways Network Management Team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Street Manager software system or equivalent is essential.
  • A formal qualification in a relevant subject and/or comprehensive relevant post experience.
  • A driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle is required.
  • The Successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check, if the role requires one.
