Responsibilities
- Lead teams and complex projects, delivering measurable operational improvements.
- Operate across the full sales value chain, from opportunity identification to deal closure.
- Collaborate with client counterparts to scope, plan, and manage project progress.
- Hold ultimate responsibility for project outputs, including budgets and risk documentation.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior management and mid-level executives.
- Develop insightful sector-specific points of view on key strategic issues.
- Communicate views and insights effectively to clients and colleagues, adapting communication style.
- Support client pitches and bid management efforts, shaping ideas and opportunities.
- Identify, design, and lead critical practice development initiatives.
- Review and assess technical data to extract key strategic insights.
- Evaluate complex challenges and deliver practical, insightful recommendations.
- Provide constructive challenge to colleagues' work to ensure high delivery standards.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of risk management in a professional services environment.
- Utilize strong interpersonal, coaching, and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Experience in pricing strategy consulting, ideally from a boutique firm, Big 4, or corporate pricing department.
- Experience in the deal environment, including pre- or post-deal margin improvement work.
- Track record of working with large corporate clients and/or private equity to deliver high-impact recommendations.
- Detailed understanding of pricing commercial knowledge across industries.
- Considerable experience leading and managing complex projects.
- Experience managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders.
- Extensive consulting experience, including sales and business development skills.
- Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Experience managing senior/boardroom clients and securing buy-in from senior stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with other teams to identify optimal skill combinations for client delivery.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
- A first-class or 2.1 degree in quantitative/analytical studies (e.g., economics, maths, statistics, engineering) or equivalent experience.
