About the Role
Pet Paradise is seeking a professional, friendly, and motivated Pet Stylist/Groomer to provide high-quality care and grooming services in a fun, rewarding environment. Team members ensure pets receive focused attention and loving care while maintaining a safe and entertaining facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer consultations and explain services and costs
- Perform grooming services including cutting, bathing, dematting, brushing, and fluff drying
- Check pets for parasites, lumps, bumps, or cuts
- Clean and pluck ears, trim nails, and express anal glands
- Maintain grooming room cleanliness, including cages, tubs, tables, and tools
- Vacuum and mop floors
Requirements
- One year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination
- Ability to handle a variety of canine and feline sizes safely
- Familiarity with standard cuts for all breeds
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- Ability to work in a heated, high-humidity environment with loud noise
