About the Role

Farber Perio is seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant for a periodontal surgical office to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with specialists and dental hygienists to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during implant, laser and other periodontal procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-ray, scans and intra oral scans
  • Order responsibility for Implant and other surgical material
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and dental hygienists
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements

  • 3 year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
  • X-Ray certification
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law
