About the Role

Golden Artist Colors is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler to join their team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Supply Chain Director, working Monday - Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The role involves working for a world-class artist materials manufacturer in a mission-based, creative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and deliver incoming materials to appropriate locations.
  • Pick and deliver WIP and component materials to filling area and stock WIP from Paint Making.
  • Accurately count inventory and perform inventory tracking.
  • Utilize computer skills to enter material and product transaction information in the ERP system.
  • Prepare and inspect outbound carts of products for transfer to the GAC Distribution Center, ensuring manifest accuracy.
  • Prepare and inspect all outbound customer shipments.
  • Operate multiple types of forklifts including counterbalance, sit down, stand up, cherry-pickers, clamp, and reach forklifts.
  • Occasional use of the box truck.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent with additional training in computer applications.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift, electric pallet jack, and order picker certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to safely operate company delivery trucks.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to recognize and avoid slip/trip hazards.
  • Requires a physical assessment, respirator fit, and background check.
