About the Role
Build foundational communications infrastructure and drive high-impact employee and executive communications across the Research organization. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery and requires strong partnership with senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Build communication frameworks, governance, templates, and best practices.
- Develop communication strategies that clarify complex scientific/business priorities.
- Lead executive communications (messaging, narratives, town halls).
- Drive employee engagement programs, leadership forums, and high visibility events.
- Create communication plans supporting organizational priorities and milestones.
- Gather employee insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Support change communications and organizational evolution.
- Introduce modern communication practices and measure effectiveness.
Requirements
- BA/BS and 10+ years in internal communications within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Experience supporting scientific, research, biotech, or pharma environments.
- Expertise in strategic communications, executive communications, and employee engagement.
- Strong project management and ability to influence senior leaders.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.
- Experience in change communications, consulting, or life sciences.
- Experience designing large scale employee engagement programs.
