About the Role
Ferguson is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a driver, ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials to customers while adhering to all company policies and DOT regulations. This role offers the opportunity to be home daily with no nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to the customer, including loading and unloading, and ensuring delivery ticket accuracy.
- Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck, and report any issues to a supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with order pulling, shipment preparation, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking of materials.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
