About the Role
The SEDOL Sales Team is seeking a motivated, quota-driven individual to join as a relationship/account manager. This role will be based in New York and is responsible for managing a client portfolio and developing new business in the Americas for SEDOL Masterfile data licensing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and complete sales business plans to achieve or exceed individual sales targets.
- Complete license reviews for assigned accounts, including planning, execution, contract review, staff interviews, information evaluation, and report production.
- Share knowledge and expertise during group training sessions.
- Provide valuable customer insights to internal product and account teams.
- Identify and implement strategies to drive client retention and communicate offerings to the wider team.
Requirements
- Degree level or equivalent experience, ideally in Finance.
- 2+ years of Sales and/or data licensing experience.
- Medium level product and workflow expertise.
- Strong industry knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting with C-suite executives.
- Ability to cultivate deep customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and objection handling skills.
- Experience in conflict resolution.
- Strategic problem-solving abilities with an entrepreneurial style, sense of drive and urgency.
