About the Role

This role will support the delivery of audio-visual material, scripts, metadata, and artwork for acquired titles for linear FNG channels and subsequent exploitation on Disney+. This involves close communication with distributors, especially when Disney rejects materials that do not match their specifications. The role is based in our London Hammersmith office, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Track material delivery for acquired titles from 3rd party distributors for linear channels and for Disney+ into TWDC London.
  • Manage video, audio, audio description, subtitles, descriptive metadata, and artwork deliveries.
  • Handle QC rejections and remediation processes directly with distributors.
  • Update internal colleagues with regular status reports on delivery progress and flag issues or blockers.
  • Track metrics for on-time and right-first-time deliveries.
  • Work effectively with departmental colleagues and cross-functionally with EMEA Content Operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.

Requirements

  • Candidate will be expected to understand technical specs across different types of media.
  • Extensive experience with applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and Smartsheet.
  • Experience in asset management databases.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience essential.
  • Understanding of localization and mastering processes.
  • Experience of file-based and HD technology, new media, and electronic file delivery.
  • Experience with different sound and video formats/components.
  • Understanding of QC processes for Audio Visual files.
