About the Role

The Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality (subsystems of) products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Overall technical leadership and responsibility for realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high level product design, check and optimize integration and verification.
  • System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to Software element and part level and related traceability.
  • Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces, determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews.
  • Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation compliant manner.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated technical leadership skills.
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality.
  • Experienced with relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.).
  • Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills related to the systems engineering discipline.
  • Ability to influence and lead work groups is desired.
