About the Role
Campaign Managers at WPP Production are responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, on specification, and within budget. They act as the key contact for projects, managing communication regarding timing, scope, budget, resources, and changes to internal teams and clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on one of the world's most recognized luxury brands.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client and agency contact for Moving Image projects, including broadcast, digital, and social production.
- Manage regular client status updates and communications.
- Define project scope and approach, setting and managing client expectations.
- Understand client needs to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Ensure awareness of project timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the production brief, deliverables, and timeline for each project.
- Collaborate effectively with internal agency teams and external partners to ensure quality and adherence to production guidelines.
- Independently manage small to medium projects from initiation to completion.
- Work with cross-functional teams in a time-sensitive agency environment.
- Manage client objectives, budget, expectations, deliverables, and timelines.
- Keep projects on track using task lists, timing schedules, risk registers, trackers, status reports, and contact reports, communicating any changes.
- Identify potential project risks and escalate to the Senior Campaign Manager (SCM) as needed.
- Liaise with relevant parties to obtain schedules, briefs, assets, and technical specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates for Campaign Lead approval and record details on internal trackers.
- Own project budgets and track all ongoing costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reconcile estimates to actuals on all projects.
- Resolve budget discrepancies between disciplines, vendors, and clients.
- Manage Purchase Orders (POs), financial reporting, tracking, and billing against all project budgets.
Requirements
- Experience managing international accounts in 5+ markets with multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding of marketing and production implementation processes across key channels such as TV, social, print, and digital.
- Understanding of the production and creative development process, content production, technology, quality assurance testing, and marketing methodologies.
- Ability to manage small projects with varying components, demonstrating delivery on time and on budget.
- Experience managing client relationships.
- A professional, calm, and approachable demeanor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An appreciation for how great work is executed and a commitment to flawless execution and delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, wireframing/workflow tools, and online project management/collaboration/ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Trello, Miro).
