About the Role
The Manager VIP Hospitality will manage VIP client needs and provide exceptional hospitality for guests at high-profile events attended by celebrities, executives, and VIPs. This role acts as the VIP administrator for concerts, games, and special events, serving as a key contact for the MSG VIP Services department.
Responsibilities
- Manage VIP Services databases, documents, and calendars.
- Manage VIP client needs, including real-time adjustments, issue resolution, and timely responses.
- Provide support and exceptional hospitality in VIP spaces during events.
- Lead and oversee part-time VIP hospitality staff during events.
- Collaborate on and update seating assignments and hospitality spaces for VIP and executive guests.
- Manage team finance documents, including invoicing, bill backs, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Provide creative input on special projects and perform other duties.
- Manage and organize suite inventory and merchandise for the VIP team.
- Support daily operations.
- Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members by adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Previous managerial experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
- Well-organized self-starter.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment with changing demands.
- Exhibits a passion for the VIP guest experience.
- High comfort level with senior executives and high-profile personalities.
- Creative problem solver.
- Self-confident, calm demeanor in high-pressure, high-profile environments.
- Ability to stand for the duration of evening events.
- Available to work prolonged hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
