About the Role
Manage multi-million dollar cloud costs on a global group level, and support tech, product, and finance teams in the group with financial processes like cost cross-charging and capitalization. This role is within the tech department, offering a dynamic environment to expand skill sets and work on diverse topics and projects.
Responsibilities
- Create financial transparency for all globally used cloud tools and services within the Company.
- Work with teams around the world to establish a culture of cost accountability.
- Maintain and improve processes for cost-splitting and chargebacks to entities.
- Support procurement processes and manage global tech contracts with third-party providers by developing cost scenarios, forecasts, and models.
- Work with tech and finance teams to automate controlling tasks and improve efficiency.
- Assist all tech teams in the headquarter with capitalization of their development projects.
- Preparation of annual budget, quarterly forecast updates, and monthly deviation analysis.
- Understand and analyze related trends (P&L, balance sheet, and non-financials KPIs).
Requirements
- Over 2 years of experience in IT cost controlling.
- Demonstrated excellence in financial analysis and data model building; ability to turn data into insights and recommendations.
- Experience in creation of ad hoc analyses, statistics, and deviation analyses.
- Pragmatic, proactive, and able to get things done.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness for continuous learning and readiness to take on responsibility.
- Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams and with different hierarchical levels.
- Good understanding of cloud pricing models, charging methods, and cloud billing and reporting is a plus.
- Experience with personnel cost is preferred.
