About the Role
As a Working Student Photo & Video at Kitchen Stories, you will be a key part of our creative team, responsible for executing visuals that drive recipe success. You will collaborate with video, photo, and culinary teams on diverse creative projects, initially focusing on social media and our own platforms. This dynamic role involves capturing still images and motion, editing videos, and retouching photos using industry-standard software.
Responsibilities
- Support the video & photo team with shooting, retouching photos, and editing videos based on team needs.
- Work closely with the team creating short-form videos to support culinary content.
- Assist with operational needs for the production of campaigns with various partners.
Requirements
- Inspired by cooking and storytelling.
- Knowledge of what it takes to create thumb-stopping photo and video content for social platforms like Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube.
- Experience shooting in natural and studio lighting, ideally including food.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Capture One.
- A portfolio demonstrating talent, ability to work in a studio setting, and ideally, work with food.
- Fluent English and proficient German.
- Enrolled as a student.
- Ability to work between 15-20 hours per week.
