About the Role

Enovate is seeking a Resident Engineer with specialized experience in tunneling, specifically pressurized face TBM mining, precast concrete segmental lining, and cross passage construction, to support our expanding engineering and construction management services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of technical office and field engineering assignments.
• Review plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods.
• Represent the Construction Management team during daily meetings with the contractor.
• Provide technical support to senior CM staff.
• Manage oversight of TBM design, fabrication, and operation.
• Manage oversight of the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of precast concrete tunnel lining segments.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of tunneling works.
• Monitor tunneling progress, ground conditions, and excavation parameters.
• Review geotechnical and structural monitoring data.
• Implement safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation on TBM operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions during tunneling operations.
• Coordinate with the outreach team and third-party stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).
• Experience in pressurized face TBM mining, precast concrete segmental lining, and cross passage construction.
• Understanding of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in tunneling operations.
